Don’t forget Avengers 2, Thor 2, and Captain America 2. I believe they come out next year (Iron Man and Thor), 2014 (CA) and the somewhat near future (Avengers). Unfortunately, because they’re cranking them out so fast, and because it’s Marvel, I don’t have very high expectations. Marvel also has a record of dragging things out and not really making them any better (Spiderman? Spiderman-3 pending). However, because Avengers was one of Marvel’s better movies, I think that might might might make it a little better. For the others, I think we’re probably going to have another Dare Devil, where you’re watching it and you’re just so astounded Marvel would actually make it into a movie. Also, Deadpool is announced for 2014, and although I’m a little iffy on if it’s going to happen, Marvel has so much going on in the next two years that something’s going to go terribly wrong.

That all being said, for Iron Man alone (and Avengers once you add Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, and Chris Evans) (and Jeremy Renner since he was pretty hot and there just to be hot), you can’t go too far wrong with Robert Downey Jr. Even if it turns into him carrying the entire movie on his performance (much like Chris Hemsworth in Thor), it won’t be that bad of a movie. So Iron Man 3 may turn out! The rest…it’s still pending.
